Mobile Phone Litter Competition
Clean Up Blandford & The Blandford Forum Camera Club ran a joint mobile phone competition for young people on the theme, "Our Town, Your Litter" or "Take It Away".
CUBC were provided by the camera club, at their annual show, a judge and a 15 minute slot of powerpoint slides showing the best pictures. Also the prize winners recieved their prizes and a certificate from the Mayor, along with the Camera Club winners. The local press were reporting on the event.
There was not a great deal of takeup, but this did not matter as CUBC got the publicity it needed, and some reasonable pictures.
